With the echoes of ‘Zuma must step down’ reverberating around South Africa due to the pitiful apology by the South African president regarding the Nkandla debacle.
Jacob Zuma told traditional leaders:
“I’ll be very happy that we solve the African problems in the African way because if we solve them only legally they become too complicated. Law looks at one side only, they don’t look at any other thing.”
My question then:
Why do we need a legal system in South Africa? Or, why not get rid of SARS and let’s deal with tax collection, the ‘African way’.
